What is the ESA Φ-lab?
ESA Phi-Lab supports the development of innovative Earth Observation technologies with strong commercial potential. It fosters collaboration between startups, researchers, and industry partners, and operates in Aalto University’s Aalto Startup Center in Espoo, Finland. Phi-Lab offers funding, as well as business and technical support for space-related geospatial research projects—both upstream and downstream.
Who can apply?
Any Finnish startup, SME, or larger industry working on geospatial projects in:
